AS TRUST DEVELOPS

We are able to see what we have in common with others and are able to share experiences in an honest and heart opening way, which up until this point may have proved to be difficult. As we work together we become more self-aware and also learn how to overcome unhelpful behavioural patterns and beliefs in order to increase connection, improve the quality of our interpersonal relationships both within and outside the group.

as discoveries are made

Participants have the opportunity to experience and provide feedback to each other in the present moment in a genuine, authentic and honest way. This work often leads to deeper relationships with the other group members as we gain an increased understanding and acceptance of others and ourselves.

Group members are encouraged to try out new ways of behaving within the safety of the group. This can ultimately lead to the opportunity for a much more rich and full experience of ourselves as we experience alternative ways of being, which we may not have tried before and are now able to do so with the support of the group.

The Art Of Connection Workshops

This is a 4.5 hour experiential workshop designed as an introduction for people who are looking to deepen their self-awareness and gain a better understanding of themselves and others in a safe and supportive environment. The focus is on understanding relationships both our own & with others.

This is more than a sit-down and take notes workshop. You’ll be actively participating in the workshop and learn about yourself through real-time experiences of connection and exploring how you form relationships with yourself and others.

During The Workshop You Will:

  • Learn about the power of human connection and why we need it.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of your current relationship with yourself and others

  • Discover and unravel some of your patterns in relationship and how they impact on your family, partner, friendships or work.

  • Learn how to create meaningful and authentic relationships with others.

  • Develop awareness of how you move closer to connection and intimacy and away from loneliness and isolation.

  • Expand your level of self awareness and be challenged to grow.

The second half of the workshop is fully experiential and will be therapeutically facilitated group work.

Workshop participants will get to choose a specific, interpersonal goal or issue they want to explore in a safe and supportive environment. Within the group, each person can explore how their experiences contribute to personality, behaviours, and patterns they might experience. They can also learn to understand and change behaviours that are destructive or unhelpful in real life.

To get your wheels turning, here are a few example topics you could choose:

• Feeling too shy to speak up
• Not being able to sit with conflict without feeling the need to interject
• Difficulty expressing anger or expressing what you want
• Feeling like you don’t have a lot of confidence
• Working with past trauma’s
• Understanding Relationship issues
• Developing more self-esteem
• Gaining new skills in communication
• Understanding personal behaviours
• Learning about support

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to interact with others who face similar issues and discuss individual goals and challenges in a productive and inclusive environment conducive to interpersonal process work and honest inquiry.

We’ll take advantage of the unique group environment to provide safety, support and honest feedback among members. We'll discuss and practice new social and interpersonal behaviours through group engagement and one-on-one interaction.

We'll also dedicate time to receiving and providing valuable feedback to other group members to encourage maximum growth. As trust develops, we're able to see the commonalities we share with others and open ourselves up to new experiences in an honest and heartfelt way.
