First, let me clear up a few things when it comes to Psychotherapy.
Today, some people still associate going to therapy as negative or as something to do as a last resort. I believe in a modern approach when it comes to emotional health and wellbeing.
Good emotional health and wellbeing focuses on prevention and personal growth. It’s realizing that we all need spaces for support, self-reflection and healing.
My view is that therapy is something we can do regularly, to take care of ourselves (just as we would do by exercising our body regularly).
By taking care of our emotional world before things become too overwhelming we are able to manage our challenges more effectively and find solutions faster. Investing in ourselves through therapy is a commitment to yourself to grow, it is a journey to living life with more meaning and fulfillment.
My strategies combine Gestalt Psychotherapy, self-awareness and neuroscience. The strategies I teach focus on creating positive, sustainable change & transformation. I work with individuals, couples and groups in Brisbane and online globally.
